It’s true, we are currently requiring payment 1 month before your stay. This isn’t because we’re greedy, it’s really to help avoid the frenzy of a last-minute cancellation. With most reservations booked over a year in advance, life’s circumstances change, and some folks even forget about their booking. Securing your cabin with payment a month prior means there’s less chance you’ll be in the unfortunate position of canceling such great plans. And if you must, it provides more time to re-rent your cabin, keeping you free of the financial obligation. Win, win!

Some cabins are more popular than others. And yes, the calendar is accurate. Cancellations can happen, so cabins sometimes open up. Or, you can place yourself on our waiting list. If those specific dates are released you will receive an email- so be on the lookout!

Yes, you can! Sometimes a single night gets sandwiched between other existing reservations. The online system is prevented from booking these dates, but send us an email and we can get you in!

YES!! We now are able to hold your ideal dates on a waitlist. If someone cancels on any of the dates you request we will call and let you know. It is important that you give us the best number to reach you because once cancelled, the reservation will open up on the site for any watchful eyes to snag. So we still highly recommend that you secure your second choice dates to ensure you still get to stay with us.

You may arrive anytime between 3pm and 8pm. Let us know if you’re going to be late (we hit the hay pretty early around here). Check-out is a prompt 10am. Our little cleaning crew has a lot to do before the next guests arrive and your timely departure is appreciated.

When you enter Candlewood Lane off of Hwy 80, stop at the Anaway Store in the lower level of the Barn. We will get you checked in and on your way to your cabin.

There are smart TV's in the Little House and the Barn and a small TV (DVD viewing only) in the Log Cabin. Cable and network channel broadcasts are not available, however fiber internet speeds are provided via wifi in all cabins. You're all set to be as connected or disconnected as you wish!

Just bring what you need to feel relaxed and at home in nature. Our cabins are fully furnished with cozy linens, soft towels, and all the essentials for cooking—including pots, pans, utensils, and dishware. You’ll find a coffee grinder and maker in each cabin, so don’t forget your favorite beans (or pick up a bag of award-winning Wonderstate Coffee from our Little Store). The Anaway Store is stocked with thoughtfully curated local goodies: home goods, books, games, meats, cheeses, crackers, pasta, farm fresh eggs, butter, oils, salts, wine, liquor, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages—plus everything you need for the perfect s’more. In the warmer months, we are happy to share in our bounty of herbs and vegetables from our seasonal garden. Please help us protect the forest by not bringing outside firewood. We've got plenty of seasoned wood available for purchase right here on the property—easy and affordable.
