Dinner Plate

The Wilson Creek dinnerware carries a sophisticated yet humble expression to any meal, be it a breakfast of oatmeal for one or a festive holiday dinner for the extended family. This dining set withstands decades of use and offers a timeless and versatile essential for your table.

Each piece by Wilson Creek Pottery is thrown by hand in a converted 1930s cheese factory in the Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin. The red clay mix recipe was handed down from potter to potter and has a proven track record of durability, with pieces lasting over 30 years since the pottery studio opened its doors. With a handmade feel, earthy aesthetic and a slim profile inspired by traditional Japanese pottery, Wilson Creek Pottery is known and loved by locals.

Edward Wohl cutting boards, soft and smooth to the touch, are essentially functional art. Made of bird’s-eye maple with a consistent curved contour design, these boards will add elegance, Nordic-inspired form and organic beauty to your kitchen.

Edward Wohl is an internationally known woodworker, with his workshop just down the road from Anaway Place. Each board is crafted by hand by Ed's small team in Spring Green, Wisconsin. We're proud to draw on such artistry right here in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin.

Care: Treat occasionally with mineral oil.

Our Story

Anaway Home is about slowing down, restorative consumption and simple living. It is about making our homes a place we feel inspired and rejuvenated. We believe that natural materials crafted by hand or through conscious supply chains allow us to care for ourselves, the local and global communities where our goods come from and the planet we call home.

Anaway Home arose from a desire to curate homeware that aligns with our values and with the Anaway Place experience of tranquility, rejuvenation and connection to nature. We invite you to visit our brick and mortar at Anaway Place in Wisconsin, or select from our curated products online. We strive to share openly about the origins of these items and how they were made, and to refresh our collection frequently because many products are made from small batches or face global supply chain delays.

Anaway Home is run by the Calnin family, some whom live on-site at Anaway Place, and others spread from coast to coast - California to Georgia.

Welcome to Anaway Home.
