RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

We hold reservations with a valid credit card and a $50 deposit that later applies to our guest’s reservation balance.

All reservation balances are due 30 days before our guest’s check-in date. Guests will be contacted via email with online payment options. If we cannot reach guests for payment after multiple attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and proceed with re-renting the unit. It is the guest’s responsibility to provide current and accurate contact information.

Guests should not arrive on-site without prior contact and payment.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Guests who cancel their reservation more than 30 days before their check-in date will receive a refund, less a $10 service fee.

Guests who cancel their reservation after paying in full will not receive a refund and will be responsible for the total amount of the reservation, unless the unit is re-rented. If the unit is re-rented for the entirety of the original reservation, the canceling guest will receive a refund, less a service fee. If the cabin is re-rented for a portion of the original reservation, the canceling guest will receive a refund in correlation with the amount of re-rented days, less a service fee.

In the unlikely event that a guest must shorten their stay after arrival, they will remain responsible for the total balance of the original reservation.

We regret that we cannot offer refunds, vouchers, or date changes due to inclement weather or family, pet or medical emergencies/illnesses.

We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

For guests of The Barn, we required a security deposit of $250. This deposit is returned in full after check-out once the premises are found to be complete and undamaged.

MINIMUM STAY

We require a 2-night minimum stay and a 3-night minimum stay on major holidays (listed below). Please call us if you see a single night available on the calendar, and we can help you book.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is between 3:00 - 8:00 pm. After 8:00 pm must be pre-approved. To ensure the overall readiness and cleanliness of our cabins, please do not arrive before 3:00 pm.

Check-out is at 10:00 am. No late check-outs.

CHILDREN

The premises are not childproof, and parents are responsible for the safety of their children.

ANIMALS & PETS

Pets are welcome in The Hillside and The Log cabins with a fee of $25 per animal. Animals and pets are not allowed in any other unit.

Pets are not allowed on furniture or linens. Guests will be charged a minimum $50 cleaning fee for violation.

Pets may not be left unattended in cabins unless crated. Pets are not to be left alone tied up outside or in screened-in porches. Damage by a pet to the property is the pet owner’s sole responsibility.

Pets must not disturb other guests.

CARE OF THE UNITS

Guests shall leave the premises, unit, and furnishings in a clean and undamaged condition. We reserve the right to charge our guests for any repairs outside of routine maintenance, reasonable wear and tear, or for an unusual degree of cleaning.

Do not put any feminine products, diapers or paper towels in any toilet.

Guests shall not bring, keep, or have either inside or outside the premises any article or thing of a hazardous nature, including fireworks, explosives, flammable items, or gasoline.

EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION

Should our guests encounter any malfunctioning equipment, including; appliances, electronics, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, or lighting, they should notify the innkeeper immediately. We will make every effort to remedy the issue and carry out reasonable repairs as quickly as possible. No refunds will be made for the malfunction of non-essential equipment.

FIREWOOD

Firewood is available for a small fee. The Department of Natural Resources requires guests DO NOT transport firewood onto the premises.

OCCUPANCY

Occupancy and use of the premises shall not disturb or offend surrounding guests. All reservation holders must be 25 years of age or older.

Quiet hours are observed property-wide from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am and are strictly enforced. No music shall be played outside of the cabins.

No student groups, parties, large gatherings or events are allowed at the property.

We reserve the right to verify the age of the reservation holder at any time and to refuse occupancy without proper identification. Misrepresentation of occupancy or any reported disturbance may require the offending guests to vacate the premises immediately and without refund.
